Don was moving his business Alki Mail and Dispatch, to a new location. He purchased a space that used to be a salon, so the amount of work that needed to be done in order to convert it to suit his business needs were vast. He wanted the space to be more then just a shipping and receiving center. His desire was to incorporate an internet cafe, PO boxes, and to have some point of purchase cards and small gifts. The challenge was to incorporate these different spaces together in one open room. I chose various colors to define each space, selected complementary counter tops, tile, light fixtures, and stains for wood PO boxes. The end result was a fun, yet warm and inviting atmosphere.

“We used Peggy Nelsen to help us choose interior/exterior paint colors, tile, countertop materials and coordinate fixture coloring for our 16 year old business moving to a new location. Peggy really put in the time to come by and get a feel for our business and our clientele. Her choices were elegant and appropriate for the professional yet folksy look we were going for. The look of our new shop gets constant compliments and our business has grown over 300% since we opened the new location! Thanks, Peggy!”
